In
1951 I moved to Cornwall to live and have lived here on and
off ever since. My husband and I, plus one cat, have lived
in Redruth since 1989.
I
paint landscapes in both traditional and modern styles and
specialise in cat portraits, working in either Watercolour or
Acrylics.
I trained as an illustrator at Falmouth College of Arts and
exhibitions include one woman shows in Falmouth, joint exhibitions
also in Falmouth, Redruth and galleries throughout the south;
including the Alexander and
Clifton Galleries in Bristol. Our annual Society Of Felines
Artists exhibition is held in Llewellyn Alexander Gallery, Waterloo,
London, each September for three weeks.
Prints
of the modern works and cat portraits can be purchased from
the Kingsley Village which is situated just off the A30 at
Fraddon. [next to Macdonalds] This is an exciting and
expanding venture and houses goods and food made in Cornwall.
Cards of cats and the modern works are on sale and prints
come celo-wrapped or framed.
